Bulanglang

Hello eveyone, Happy New Year ~!!!
Today I wanna share something I had for Lunch, and It's special cause I made it myself.

These are photos of the dish I made for lunch today. This is a typical Pinoy Dish, and it is called Bulanglang. A very healthy dish for all ages. This dish are made from fresh vegetables and herbs, no worries about fats, oil, etc.

If your going to search the word Bulanglang on the internet, you'll find out that it was originally from Philippines, Batangas to be specific. The english term for this dish is vegetable stew, and its made of ordinary vegetables without having much spices or ingredients. Despite of lack of ingredients, it taste very good and lots of people, even non-pinoy enjoys this dish. Now for more information about this wonderful dish, let me enumerate the ingredients I have for this. This is exactly what I have for today.
  • Sitaw (String Bean)
  • Kalabasa (Squash)
  • Patani (Lima Bean)
  • Hugas Bigas
  • Luya (Ginger)
  • Bawang na Mura (Spring garlic)
  • ample amount of table salt(asin), Pepper(paminta), Vetsin(MSG)
This dish would be served best if you have grilled or fried fish along with it. Now if you think the dish is not good enough, wait until I have my dinner. Till next time folks ~!!
